Acceptable use policy

This acceptable use policy keeps Datum useful and lawful for everyone. It is part of the terms.

Do

• Use Datum and its output for your own business: to sell, bid, quote, plan, lend, or research.
• Respect the seat and usage limits of your plan.

Do not

• Resell, redistribute, or sublicense the data or build a competing data product from it, beyond the rights your plan grants.
• Scrape, crawl, or bulk-extract the service outside the API and your licensed limits, or circumvent rate limits and access controls.
• Reverse engineer the service, or misrepresent its output as your own data product.
• Use any contact or party information to send unlawful, deceptive, or harassing communications, or in violation of anti-spam and privacy laws.
• Use Datum for anything unlawful, or in a way that harms the service or other users.

Enforcement

We may rate-limit, suspend, or terminate accounts that breach this policy. Report misuse to hello@datumai.ca.
